Mansfield is a lovely suburb in Brisbane, situated 13.5km south-east from Brisbane’s Central Business District. Although it had an agricultural past, significant area of the suburb was used to build government housing estates. These have steadily been converted into more modern private residences as accommodation closer to the Central Business District became more expensive and less available. Mansfield shares a border with Mount Gravatt East, Carindale, Wishart, and MacKenzie. It covers an area of 4.9 square kilometer.
