Carindale is a suburb in Brisbane, it is situated 10km east of the Central Business District. The established suburb is surrounded by Carina, Carina Heights, Tingapla, Mount Gravatt East, Mansfield, Mackenzie, and Belmont. The suburb was founded in 1980 after it separated from Belmont. It is most well-known as home to Westfield Carindale - one of the largest shopping centers in Australia.
