Forest Lake is located 25km south-west from Brisbane’s CBD. As the first Master Planned Community within the City of Brisbane, Forest Lake won numerous awards for its design. The suburb contains retail, commercial, residential, educational, recreational and retirement uses, and the whole community is connected with an extensive network of pedestrian and cycle paths. It's known for its man-made lake with a perimeter of 2.7km and 8 hectares of parkland, which is a popular spot for recreation. Forest Lake is adjacent to the suburbs of Inala, Doolandella, Heathwood and Richlands.
