Park Ridge is a western rural suburb in Logan, south of Brisbane. Featuring manicured acreage properties, the suburb covers a massive area of 17.2 square kilometers. Park Ridge is surrounded by Park Ridge South, Boronia Heights, Regents Park, Heritage Park, Crestmead and Logan Reserve. The Queensland Government's Shaping SEQ plan has dictated that Logan City Council provide 89,000 new dwellings by 2041 and with the majority of these new dwellings to be centered around Park Ridge, the suburb is tipped to be a key growth area of south east Queensland.

Park Ridge demographics

As at the 2021 Census, Park Ridge’s population was 8,455 people of whom 47.3% were male and 52.7% were female. The median age was 30 years, eight years below the national median of 38. 56.4% of residents were born in Australia, the other countries of birth being New Zealand 9.6%, India 5.7%, England 3.2%, the Philippines 1.6% and Samoa 1.2%.

Park Ridge Transport

Park Ridge is approximately 35 minutes drive to the Brisbane CBD and 17 minutes to Logan Central – the main hub of Logan City. Bus transport is available via the The Park Ridge Park ‘N’ Ride Stop. The closest train station to Park Ridge is Woodridge station.
