Petrie Terrace is an inner suburb in the city of Brisbane. The suburb is 2.1 kilometres by road west of the Brisbane General Post Office. Hale Street and Countess Street are the streets that encircle the precinct to the west and east, respectively. Its northern boundary is Musgrave Road, and its southern boundary is Milton Road and Upper Roma Street. The suburb's name derives from the same-named road, which honors the pioneering Petrie family under the leadership of Andrew Petrie.
