Sunnybank Hills is an outer southern suburb within Brisbane, situated 15km of Brisbane’s Central Business District. In 1885 when the railway lines began expanding, station stops needed to be named, a farm called Sunny Brae was taken over for the railway station, including its name. Sunnybank Hills is surrounded by the following suburbs Calamvale, Coopers Palins, Sunnybank, MacGregor, Algester, Acacia Ridge and Runcorn.
