The term ‘Wynnum’ can most likely be traced back to a Durubalic term, which signifies either the pandanus palm or the mud crab. Wynnum is a coastal suburb on the shores of Moreton Bay, North Stradbroke Island, and mangroves. Wynnum is a coastal suburb of Brisbane, Australia, located about 19.6 kilometres east of the Brisbane GPO.
